"Just a quick thank you to you both to let you know how much I enjoyed your workshop in Philadelphia on 10/10. I know we were a quiet group, but in speaking with others afterward, we were all very impressed and inspired by you both. Thanks for coming to us - hopefully next year we can come to you and spend time at one of your extended workshops!"

"Bruce & Maura, Thank you for coming to Kansas City! Your presentation was amazing and there is so much to learn from you both. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!"

”I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation that you and Maura put on in Detroit the other night. Thank you so much for sharing such terrific information. I really can't believe that the price of admission was only $50. That's incredibly generous of you. It will take weeks to process all that I learned in three short hours. Merci mille fois...”

“Bruce and Maura are warm, personable, and fun. I jotted a lot of notes throughout Bruce's talk, as I am not so great with gadgets and he gave a lot of helpful lighting tips and tricks. I mostly went to see the Painter demonstration, and was hugely pleased. I came home from the seminar and immediately started playing with the program. Maura is sweet, delightful, talented, and a great teacher. It was a super evening, and $ well spent. Thank you, guys. ”

“Let me start off by saying that this is really more of a seminar than a workshop….

That said, it was one of the most effectively presented sessions I've attended, and was just "one step" below hands-on because we saw everything demonstrated live. Aside from both of the being just genuinely warm and open people, their combined life experience doing what they're teaching, and the list of accolades they've collected, easily qualifies them to teach this. And, of course,
their work speaks for itself.

During the session, we observed Bruce demonstrating various lighting techniques with common equipment; different ways of using the tools many of us already have. The results he gets using these very techniques are stunning, and the vast majority can be done very portably. He diagrammed shots and explained the reasons for…

Lighting techniques is what I went for, and was not disappointed. But They went on to describe and discuss album layout. They actually created a couple of full-blown album layouts in no time, explaining as they went. What I found most useful was that this was not just "this is how *we* do it," but an entire thought-process derived from a career is related industries that ties everything together neatly. I'll say that I didn't quite "get" their design approach looking at the website,
but after the seminar it clicks.

More, Maura demonstrated both digital image retouching and the application of textures, and topped off the night by creating a digital painting, stroke by stroke, before our eyes. She explained tips and techniques the whole time. For someone who has a little experience with Painter, it was eye-opening.

I left with a head full of ideas of ways to apply new approaches in all 4 areas - lighting, re-mastering and album design, plus foraying into the world of digital painting. I highly recommend this seminar; just one of these areas would have been worth the price of admission and the 6-hour round-trip.

I was on the edge of my seat during the seminar... never got bored. And these are people that truly love what they do and have a passion not just for their own business but the health and future of the industry, so I know they could
teach for days."

"Thanks again, Bruce and Maura. It was an honor and a pleasure meeting and learning from you!” - Bill “This was a great seminar. I went last week in Salt Lake City. I got a lot of great ideas and they were super nice and very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone in the remaining cities.”
