Introducing the adorable Baby Slipper™!
Please welcome the latest addition to our little family of gadgets! Weighing in at a svelte 5.5 ounces and measuring a scant 3 x 5 inches, the spankin’-new Baby Slipper™ is the smallest and newest member of our ever-expanding family of useful gadgets.
Tiny as it is, we mustn’t discount this little tyke’s powerful potential! Ideal for use with factory wireless speedlite management, one can also mount a Pocket Wizard receiver. Although it is a bit of a squeeze, we decided to accept some pretty tight tolerances in exchange for the ultimate in compactness and optional radio-based wireless capability.
While not as roomy as the Original Strobe Slipper™, the Baby Slipper™ still accepts the same shoe-mount speedlites. Please notice that we retained one of the Strobe Slipper’s™ large “hanger holes” for clever wall-mounting. As always, use your own common sense as to the security of any wall-mounting or precarious placement; we take no responsibility for the results of poor judgment and gravity.
As with all of the other members of the family, the Baby Slipper™ will happily perch on a light stand and also accepts the ever-so-rugged Missing Link™. As I’m sure you know by now, the Missing Link™ allows the use of all manner of interesting light modifiers including both umbrellas and a variety of yummy softbanks. This includes the very best of all, our own award-winning BDS Asymmetrical Stripbank by Westcott. Canon users can add their accessory speedlite battery pack to make longer portrait sessions a cinch…
The Baby Slipper will not accept the big ol’ Quantum Qflash. It’s only a baby, for cryin’ out loud - get the big, butch Magic Slipper™ if the Qflash is your location lighting instrument of choice. If you feel that the snug architecture of the Baby Slipper™ is too tight for your beefy digits, the Original Strobe Slipper™ is still the best choice. If, however, you want our most compact and lightest-weight solution, the Baby Slipper is your obvious choice…
