3 Days & 4 Nights ~ $1,845.

Price includes bedroom & bath in cabin-style lodging with most ranch-style meals, transportation for any excursions, transportation to and from the ranch from the airport, One-on-One time with Canon Explorer of Light - Bruce Dorn and
Three shooting sessions with horses and cowboys!

Attendees are responsible for their own travel to the Jackson, WY airport,
and one -no host- meal outside of the ranch for our travel off-site afternoon
and any alcoholic beverages.

This creative photographic retreat will be based out of the rustic Heart Six Ranch
a scant five miles outside of the Grand Teton National Park.

Come ready to shoot, process and enhance with your own camera gear & laptops.
Attendance will be limited in order to offer the best one-on-one learning
experience for the retreat. Digital artistry in Photoshop will be offered
to make the most out of this on-location workshop.

It is suggessted that experience levels range from advanced-beginner on up!

- Photographic Retreat Itinerary -

Arrival Day : September 17, 2008. - Join us for a "Welcome to Wyoming" dinner
at the Heart Six Ranch. Meet Canon Explore of Light, Bruce Dorn
as you get ready to get the most out of this photographic workshop.

Day One : A Sunrise "cowboy and horse" session should yield spectacular results
with the mighty Teton Range as our backdrop. After this early morning session,
we will head up to the Ranch for a hot cup of joe and an early lunch.
Our afternoon session of post-processing will be followed
by a off-site landscape & wildlife search. An optional no-host dinner
will be at the casual-but-perfectly-located Doran Restaurant.
This eatery features dramatic sunset views of the Teton Range and
is located just yards from the bank of the Snake River.

Day Two : Offers the second shooting session with horses and cowboys during the
primo lighting condition - Sunset - followed by dinner at the Ranch.
An optional off-site "Tetons bathed in Sunrise Light" session will be available
for those interested in an early morning adventure.

Day Three : Will offer a third opportunity to photograph the Heart Six horses and their cowboy counterparts! Through out the day Bruce will be available for personal consultations and portfolio reviews, Maura will pull together a attendee slide show for the last night presentation at ranch. It is sure to be a inspirational wrap-up to this year's Wyoming photographic adventure!

Attendees may wander about the ranch with their cameras, to capture
the icons and textures of the New West throughout their stay.

Check-out is by 10:00a Sunday morning 09/21/08.

Fall is the quietest and most photogenic season this rugged alpine landscape has to offer. Jackson Airport is convenient, but driving into Jackson Hole from an outlying airport is a great way to extend your trip. Salt Lake City, Utah , Idaho Falls, Idaho or Bozeman, Montana are viable options and each drive offers many gorgeous photo opportunities. Bruce would be happy to advise you as to the most scenic routes upon request.
